Hi Fellow Networkers,
I'm glad you've decided to get some info on Market America. Is it a scam? Is it worth your time? I've got a personal interview with a MA rep that I've included in this article to give you a better inside source for deciding on this company. You also get my personal unbiased opinion of it too.
James Ridinger catapulted this company to success back in 92, a former Amway killer. The dude's got skills. This company has over 180,000 reps, over 3 million customers and a ton of corporate sponsors. They're distributing mainly house hold goods that you can find at your local Costcos or any major chain dept store. A lot like Amway actually.
Below is an actual conversation I with a representative through facebook when I asked a few months ago about Market America and their primary mlm opportunity. Some words were changed for the protection of the woman giving me this great info. I start it by inquiring on some back info about the company and the structure.

Hey you're in Market America...can i get a little info from you? I'm trying to get a marketing plan together about something related, can you give me info on the levels in MA?...where do you start? what's a high promotion to get in the company? What are some of the biggest problems Market America reps face, not including lead development. EX, you got to get four reps in four different legs, with a minimum of *** in each to get to a certain level. Some reps have a tough time doing this.

I also need a really successful distributor that a lot of reps know of in MA.

I focus a lot on mlsp, but, I'm still marketing my business and products through MA.
Here are some MA bullets for you (leave some MA people for me to help with mlsp ;o))
-Levels don't exist. We get all the points for what anyone does on our team...to infinity! Uplines can put points under you.
-You need two sponsored reps, for two legs, one each, to get paid.
-When you do that and get your fist $300 cheque, you become coordinator
-There are alot of levels from there. A nice spot is Super Coord. That gets you $7,500 - $10,000 a month. Then Nat'l Super Co is $10,000 - $18,000 & Director is $18 to $25,000. There a some other levels above and below.
-Elizabeth Weber is #1 at $100,000 a month.
-Stuggling reps, usually a result of no effort
Want to work in my business haha, just playing
Hope this helps.

END---------------
This sounds like a real good company but I haven't seen it to be different to address some of the problems other networkers have. There is also a lack of residual income considering that the company requires customers to re-purchase products. Which is apparent in most MLMs. There are successful people in the company it seems, making some solid doe. There's no doubt in my mind that this ISN'T a scam and they have been generating a ton of revenues for a while now.
Is this the company for yourself? It's very important to select the right opportunity before you just jump into one. Sales people will tell you it doesn't matter what you sell. It's the person right? I can agree with this to a degree. Being a great leader or mentor is a huge component to success but depending on what your product is will determine what marketing plan you come up with. Some companies are easier to promote online, some are in person companies that you need to see a client to sell. It really has a lot of variables you should think about. I have my business online because it makes sense and I can help you with you business too. Check out my link below for some free info about internet marketing that will blow your socks off.
